Graduated from Qinghua University in 1984, and then Master of Computer Science from University of Loyola at Chicago in 1995, Ph.D. of Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. From 1998 to 2009 worked in international corporations such as Eaton in senior research and management positions. In 2009 returned to China and joined SAIC as a professor and doctorate mentor.

Have been working in the area of motor drive and computer application for many year. Published dozens of research papers on the first class international conference and journals. Awarded two US patents and more than ten Chinese patents. Since 2009, have been responsible for several important projects from Chinese Academy of Science and local government science branches. In 2010, awarded “100 people plan” of Chinese Academy of Science and “1000 people plan” of Chinese Central Department of Organization.
